Accidentally broke GUI and need help
« on: October 09, 2017, 09:14:49 pm »
After tweaking the GUI scale for a bit game menu became too much zoomed in, and no options except "New Game" and "Load Game" are avalaible.
Both accessible butttons are also useless because in both cases there are no way to go back nor start playing.
Alt+tab and closing the game using the taskbar is the only way to close the app.
Options menu is unavalaible and deleting game by Steam didn't reset settings.

Is there any way to fix this?

TLDR: GUI scale is too big to do anything, need a way to fix that.

Hey!

You need to delete UserEngine.ini located in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Unreal Engine\Engine\ in order to reset game settings. Folder AppData is hidden by default, you need to enable showing hidden folders in Windows settings.

Game shouldn't allow setting GUI scale this high but the code responsible for that was bugged, we already fixed it and will upload it tommorow to Steam.
My signature is awesome!

Hello Echtel!
Don't worry, you did not missed a release of the game  :)
We ware giving a steam keys to demo version of a game to anyone who tried it at PGA( Pozmań Game Arena).
I will check tomorrow if there is any key left in our office. If so, we will contact you.
Of course if you want one?  8)
There's always something new to learn.

Lol yeah I figured that out after reading that other "support" post in the general section (that's what I had missed lmao).

For a moment I thought I had gone completely blind AND stupid (well more stupid than I already am anyway :p).
It's not a problem I can wait the release, don't worry about it. Cannot be too far away anyway, right? ;)
